Keyboard shortcuts
These shortcuts work in the Intabula desktop app. Shortcuts that use a single letter work only when no text field has focus.
| Shortcut | What it does |

| ⌘K or ⌘O | Open or close the command palette, which finds drafts, collections, records, and past conversations, and can send your query to the agent. |
| ⌘N or n | Start a new draft. |
| ⌘⇧N or ⇧N | Create a new record at a path you type. |
| ⌘E | With a record open from a collection, switch between showing the record alone and showing it together with the collection. |
| ⌘J | Fold the agent chat into a narrow rail, or bring it back. Works while a record or page is open beside the chat. |
| ⌘⇧J | Move the agent chat to the other side of the open record or page. Home keeps its own layout. The same switch is in the title bar, next to the theme picker. |
| ⌘[ and ⌘] | Go back or forward. Inside a text field these keys keep their editing meaning. |
| Esc | Close the open record. With no record open, return to Home. Inside a text field or the editor, Esc first leaves the field. |
